Dr. Thierry Fumeaux, a specialist in intensive care medicine, is the Chief Medical Officer of Kinarus. Dr. Fumeaux served most recently as the executive president of the Swiss Society of Intensive Care Medicine from 2018 – 2020, and as president of the clinical care expert group of the Swiss National COVID-19 Scientific Task Force in 2020. Prior to these roles, Dr. Fumeaux was head of the internal medicine ward and the ICU of a Swiss regional hospital for over 15 years, and spent 4 years of his training on the study of immuno-inflammatory responses to infection and intracellular signaling regulation. His numerous clinical research programs have led to high-quality scientific articles in various domains of intensive care and internal medicine. He is a sought-after expert for international medical journals. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Geneva and the University of Lausanne, and recently obtained an MBA from the IMD, Lausanne.
